There's a reason we call our socks "Super Sustainable Socks". Our socks are free of polyamide and polyester and are therefore super sustainable. We don't even use synthetic fibers for the connecting seams, as is usually the case. Unlike conventional socks, ours are made of 97% Fairtrade organic cotton and 3% Roica. This is an elastane that is harmless to the environment. Our socks also offer you a super comfortable, seamless feel because they are hand-linked and feel soft on the skin.

We recommend washing these socks on a gentle cycle at 30°C to prevent shrinkage and to maintain their beautiful appearance. Cleaning and air drying your laundry at lower temperatures will save energy and money and help you minimize your carbon footprint.

MELA clothing is triple certified according to Fairtrade Cotton, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and the Green Button. In our opinion, the social and ecological aspects of these standards complement each other perfectly, so that we can speak with a clear conscience about holistically sustainable textiles.
